Helpful Resources: Getting Started
To learn more about the Holocaust, visit theholocaustexplained.org or the website of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Ms. Anderson can also recommend books in the library.
Prompt 1: Explore these websites to find information about artwork looted by the Nazi party:
Prompt 2: Research instances of injustice and/or lack of respect for human rights, either during the Holocaust or in contemporary society. A list of suggested topics can be found here.
Prompt 3: For this prompt, you will need to incorporate a local Holocaust survivor's story into your art piece. Find survivors' testimonies here to watch independently.
Regardless of which prompt you choose, please make sure your topic is school-appropriate. Remember, you must get your topic approved!
